Transmission Line Project in Mali
MEC is executing Koutiala – Segou Section of 225 kV interconnection Project between Cote D' Ivoire and Mali. Due to financial constraint the project was split in two Phases. Phase -1 consisting of 281 locations has been completed.
The work of Phase-II is progressing at feverish pace & is expected to be completed by end December 2011.
Rehabilitation and Extension of Distribution Network in TOGO.
MEC is executing a contract for Rehabilitation and Extension of Distribution Network for CEET in 35 villages. 80% of the project has been completed , the project is likely to be handed over to the customer by september 2011.
Substation Project in Mali.
MEC has won a contract for 30/15 KV Substation Project at DCO in Mali.Project is financed by World Bank and is scheduled to be completed by August 2012.
Distribution Line Project.
MEC has won many contracts for supply of various Distribution products including Feeder Pillars,Lighting Fixtures,Hardware,Dropout Fuses,Transformers etc. to many countries in Africa.
Solar Project in Gaza,Sofala province in Mozambique.
MEC is executing a project for 200 installations for Health Centres and Staff Houses.The project is expected to be completed by December 2011.

MEC is actively involved for supply of HFO based Diesel Generator,Gas turbine power plant in various African countries.
Thermal Bio-Mass Project in Guinea Bissau
MEC is executing a project in a joint venture with SEMIS of Senegal in Guinea Bissau. The project is for establishment of 40 Kilo Watt Thermal Electric Power Plant using Cashew shell as feed stock. All equipments are inspected by the customer and has been shipped. The civil work is progressing and the plant is expected to be commissioned by end November 2011
Solar Project in Inhambane Province, Mozambique.
MEC was recently awarded a contract for solar electrification in one district of in Inhambane Province in Mozambique by FUNAE. Project has been completed & handed over to client after sucessful commissioning.
